WINNERS OF STeP COMPETITION 2015-’16
Sakar team comprising of two teachers – Aparna Nath and Rupa Mandal, two parents – Ms.Sudha Ahuja and Ms. Namrata Bhosle and eight students won second prize in STeP an inter school dance competition conducted at Delhi Public School East.It is a concept to bring together three important pillars in the field of education-The Teachers, The Students and The Parents and liberate great vision and sharing. The competition was held on 22nd August 2015 and the theme of the competition was ‘Save Enviornment’.

WINNERS OF KALAKRITI 2015
Two of Sakar studends – Khanak Shrivastava and Vidhi Suthar, won prizes during the recently concluded Kalakriti 2015 organized by Hillwoods. Khanak Srivastava and Vidhi Suthar won second prize in Cooking without fire and Story Boarding events respectively.
CAMLIN’S CAMEL ART CONTEST

STUDENT HONOURED
The ‘Gujarat Rajya Seva Samiti’ honoured Divya Vyas of class 10 for her active participation in different activities like swimming, karate and art & craft in both state and national levels. She was honoured with the trophy by Education Minister, Mr. B.S.Chaudasama.
SANSKRIT SONG COMPETITION
Shuchi Patel of class 9 achieved first position in Sanskrit Elocution and Vinay Sharma of class 7 won the first position in Sanskrit Song Competition held by ‘Brihad Gujarat Sanskrit Parishad’.
MRIDAMGAM PERFORMANCE AT ‘VIBRANT GUJARAT’
Manav Nair of class 4 gave a solo performance in Mridamgam at Darpan Acadamy. He also gave a marvellous performance in the cultural programme of ‘Vibrant Gujarat’, 2014-15 at Gandhinagar.
BEING HUMAN
Vaibhav Arrawatia from class 7 and Nikita Singh from class 6 stood first and second respectively as the highest collectors from among 165 students for the NGO ‘Habitat for Humanity India-Building Homes-Lives-Hopes’.
KALABHARATI CHILD ART INSTITUTE
Smita Das, Principal and Ms. Shail Sahay, Art & Craft teacher were awarded Guru Gaurav Award and Active Teachers’ Trophy respectively by ‘Kalabharati Child Art Institute’, Aurangabad, Maharashtra for ‘National Colouring – Handwriting and Essay Writing Competition’ 2014. Students were also appreciated by giving certificates.
