INSPIRATIONAL WORKSHOP AT SAKAR!
                It was a great moment and privilege for Sakar when Mrs. Laxmi Madhusoodanan, founder principal of AIS (Ahmedabad International School) conducted a workshop for the teachers of SES. She is the director and educational consultant for curriculum development and teacher training at various international and CBSC schools. On behalf of the management, the Principal Mrs. Smita Das welcomed her and requested her to share her thoughts with the teachers. She began the workshop by saying that teachers are the most vital component of the school. When teachers give love and affection to the students, the same comes back and the school progresses well. Teaching a subject should be a secondary part, but the first and foremost duty of a teacher is to inculcate good vales so that the children become good citizens. She compared the teacher to a potter and sculptor who moulds and shapes the life of a student. She emphasized on the three R’s (Respect, Relationship and Responsibility) which are to be followed by all human beings. She believes that children can perform well only when they are self confident. They can then be easily motivated to achieve their goal.  She also spoke on many other topics like Smart technology, multiple intelligence among children, ways to tackle different kinds of children and above all divinity in every child. She concluded the session with a questionnaire round and was overwhelmed by responses given by the teachers. The teachers were mesmerized and enthralled by her educational and humanitarian thoughts.
